Valhalla Sandwiches: A Culinary Exploration of Flavorful Sandwiches in Seattle

I got sandwiches for a work event and my work devoured the sandwiches! From the start of ordering online from picking them up to eating them the process was very smooth. You get a variety of sandwiches within their catering box and you can pick and choose. I let them pick the flavors and it was the right amount of each sandwich. The turkey was my favorite and others said the ham and cheese was the best. They also have outside seating with lots of tables and the inside is super cute. I highly recommend them for a quick catering service!

I've been here before and happy to say that it is still fantastic. I went there in the afternoon and was able to get a breakfast Davey all throughout the day!!! I suggest you go and give it a try.

Listen y’all, this has got to be one of the best sandwich places in Seattle. I’ve been coming here for years, but have never left a proper review or post. The staff is great, the sandwiches are super tasty, and the vibe is there. Enjoy the outdoor patio or a deck all year long, or sit inthe comfy inside. Ruben, Italian, and steak sandwiches are all superb. It’s a must if you’re in the neighborhood.

This sandwich place is fantastic—fresh, tasty, and the menu is so diverse with so many options! One sandwich is definitely a satisfying choice. I highly recommend it.

Holy cow!! I am very impressed! I got the Bad Lieutenant Sandwich and the El Duderino Sandwich and I can’t decide which one was more incredible. I loved the chorizo/spicy kick to El Duderino, but the pulled pork is STACKED on Bad Lieutenant and the bbq sauce is not overly sweet so all the other flavors shine. I feel like they are reasonably priced too for Seattle. Can’t wait to try other sandos next time.

Really good sandwiches! Love that they have an outdoor dining option so our doggie family member can join us next time. Enough sandwich options to choose from and keep coming back (which we will). Total upgrade from a Subway and better than Potbelly's. Restroom onsite, limited parking (street parking mostly). Highly recommend!

Valhalla Sandwiches is a solid sandwich spot in Seattle. I ordered takeout and appreciated that they have good vegetarian options — the sweet potato sandwich was my favorite. The condiment sauces were flavorful, and the sweet potato tater tots were a nice addition. That said, the tater tots didn’t travel very well. By the time I got home (about 15–20 minutes later), they had lost their crispiness, which was a bit of a downside. I would have preferred them to stay a little crunchier. Overall, still a good spot, especially if you’re dining in.

Valhalla Sandwiches is a "chain" of sandwich shops with a few locations scattered around the Seattle area. They make very obscure and interesting sandwich combinations that work very well. This location is in Greenwood right up from the main corner at 85th. Parking around here is relatively easy, and they have a bunch of tables outside and inside as well. Their menu isn't massive, but they have a lot of different tastes to try. Their portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but once again, the taste is there. For instance, I wish there was more turkey and less stuffing on the Thanksgiving sandwich, or more jam on the PB&J because it's a bit dry, or the sweet potato tots being undercooked and way too soft. The staff is great here, very friendly and talkative. Overall a solid place and family friendly.
